Woman Writing

My Story

I started writing when I was about 10 years old, giving short stories to my friends for special occasions. Those early works, however, are classified and not available for public consumption.

It wasn't until I was in college that I first learned about technical writing. Because of this, I like to be an advocate for English majors and speak to students about the possibilities associated with an English degree as well as what it's like to work in the software industry.

I still write a few short stories each year in an attempt to retain at least a small amount of creativity. I'm attempting to bake more these days and also trying to learn Greek. Oh, and during the early COVID days, I allowed my (late) dog Riley to start a blog, which I maintained on this site.
